Explain this price
Every product has a Lowest price (Omnibus) box in the editor. It shows the current reference price, the exact dates of the 30-day window and the recorded price history.
Correcting a mistake
If a wrong price was live for a while, for example a typo in the price for two hours, it would count as the “lowest price” for the next 30 days. You can fix this:
- In the history table, click Correct next to the record.
- Enter the correct price, or click Void record to ignore it completely.
- Enter a reason. It is required.
The current price cannot be corrected here; change it in the product instead.
Nothing is deleted. The original value, the new value, the user, the time and the reason are stored in an audit log.
CSV export
Export the price history and the audit log of one product or of the whole shop as CSV, for example when a consumer authority asks how a price was calculated.
Omnibus check
WooCommerce › Omnibus check lists every product that is reduced right now, with its status:
- OK
- Not a genuine discount: the sale price is not below the 30-day lowest price.
- History too short: the sale started before a full history existed.
- Exempt
Click a status card to filter the list.
